Stuck At The Station
Stuck at the station.
My country Blah Punkt is stuck at the station today because the President lost his thunder to swag. Complacency is a bitch, and of which he is guilty in my book. Too many ball games with the fellas, too many smiles for the camera that showed a lack of seriousness, and too much entertainment. This behavior is more becoming of the ordinary citizen, but not of a president.
I came to know of the President from the news media. Before then I had no knowledge of him or that he existed.
Just like in the times of old when a king ordered a pyramid built for what ever reason he had the attention and cooperation of his people and the people gathered as far as the eye can see to rally around his desire, and the world received it’s pyramids. Or when Abraham and his compatriots who had the full attention of the everyone, and who still today command the respect of the people, seriously attended to a plea of the people for equality a Constitution was formed. Likewise in this same light it was hoped a similar feature will be performed. President thought he would extract from himself a president of the people and for the people, which might have been his number one intention. He got that one correct, he was one with the people alright, but that only brought about a warm and fuzzy feeling which satisfied for only a brief period. The people already beaten and defeated and burdened down from centuries of inequality, bad taxes and bad government and the same ol same ol routine of politics were in radically anxious expectation of immediate change and reform, and quietly demanding instant dynamic performance from their new one of a kind president. Instead what they got was a playful human, one capable of taking his gaze off of the wheel that would turn the pages of history and time and guide the country in the direction towards a new and bright and different and prosperous future which is no easy task by no stretch of the imagination. A once in a lifetime one time opportunity to make the country right, but by failing in his attempt to bring about significant meaningful and sustainable progress to the crippled nation only succeeded in making it cristal clear to whom ever else up and coming candidate for the prize of presidency what went wrong and the thing necessary to make it great again which is “serious immediate instant radical” action.
Can he be blamed for his inaction? I don’t know, since he had 100 percent support from followers who were willing and prepared to give 100 percent support to a leader they taught that they had.
But all is not lost. What I do know is lots of prisoners in the federal penitentiary are thankful to him for their rumoured soon release hopefully.
